Research on portraiture artists in art history and do critical studies (materials for comparative studies and the influence to your final piece of work(s)).
2) How do I see myself and what media and techniques could help me communicate my intentions and ideas.
Discussion and reflection on how different contexts influence art, using the theme of self-portraits to connect the core areas: Producing a timeline to analyse, compare and interpret (function and purpose) artwork from different times and cultures, especially our own (culture and time).
3) Research drawing techniques that are relevant to your tutorials - use techniques in practice.
